Our commitment

Four pillars of our approach

Guardian consent

No identifiable photo or video of a child is used anywhere — on this site or elsewhere — without written guardian consent on file first. We do not source or commission such images ourselves; every one is traceable to a specific consent record.

Personnel verification

Anyone in a role with direct contact with students — staff, contractors, or volunteers — goes through background verification before that contact begins. This applies regardless of how the role was sourced.

Careful imagery practice

Where a photo of a child is used, it shows them doing something — building, presenting, questioning — never posed as a beneficiary. A child's face is never shown alongside their full name and school together.

Reporting a concern

Anyone — staff, a parent, a school, or a member of the public — can raise a safeguarding concern directly with us, in confidence, using the contact details below.

Data

We do not collect children's personal data

None of our forms — the School Nomination form, partner or volunteer enquiries, or our general contact form — ask for any personal information about a student. Our School Nomination form captures details about the school and an adult contact person only.

See our Privacy Policy for how we handle the information we do collect.

Report a concern

Talk to us directly

If you have a safeguarding concern involving Aritrvarsha Foundation — our staff, volunteers, or programme delivery — please contact our Grievance Officer directly. Concerns are treated seriously and in confidence.
